9 SIMPLE riddles most humans cannot solve!

Riddles are meant to be difficult, right? That is true! But there are times that things are so simple you cannot do it! Have you ever been unable to answer a question due to its simplicity? We guess that you all are here to prove us and yourself wrong and say that all of this is a piece of cake for you! If that is the case, we cannot wait to be proven wrong! If you really can answer these, you think out of the box and are truly a genius! Let’s try!

1. What always ends everything?

So, of course, the answer you would come up with for this one would be “Death”! What else can that possibly be?! Dah! WRONG! You remember how we told you sometimes things are so simple that you cannot answer? Here we are now! Don’t forget to think outside the box! Now let’s try this one more time. Always ends everythinG! Yes! It is the G we are talking about. Why don’t we try some more of this? It’s just getting started.

2. What can you catch but not throw?

Catch but you cannot throw?! Hmmmm... We could think of anything. It could be a Train or a Bus! Obviously, they cannot be thrown! But that is again not the correct answer. We guess the best way to answer this riddle is to think of whatever collocation you can create with 'catch'. COLD is what you are looking for! You can catch a cold but you cannot throw it! Although we are not quite sure! How do you transfer the virus if you are not throwing it!

3. A boy and a doctor went fishing. The boy was the doctor’s son but the doctor wasn’t the boy’s father. Who is the doctor?

Not so easy still, right? If you haven’t got the answer yet, that means you, for sure, are surrounded by all these sexist people! It might come from the fact that we believe being a doctor is a profession that most guys have! Remember to think out outside the box! The answer to this question is simply “The boy’s mother”.

4. What starts with ‘E’ and ends with ‘E’ but only has one letter?

This could be the letter E itself but what we are looking for here is longer than that and also according to phonology such a word might be difficult to find. We could go with ‘Eye’ but that does not apply to the second part of the riddle. Why don’t we think of other meanings that words might have? Take letter as an example. As a noun, you might find almost 6 definitions for this. YES! The answer is an Envelope!

Here we have got a collocation, not a single letter. Having that in mind, you cannot choose Y as your answer. But why don’t we try to be more creative? We have all the alphabets right, but one. How could we phrase that to come up with a collocation? Y could be YOU and….. Why don’t you tell us what the answer to this riddle is?

6. What kind of room has no windows or doors?

It is possible for a room not to have windows but a door! There's got to be a way to enter the room, whether through the window or the door! Without them, there is no chance! We might think of a box as the answer but you still need to open that to get there, that is considered as a kind of door! Why don’t you think of it as something else! Not literal window and door? Why don’t we look for a word that covers the ROOM part? Anything? You got it! MushROOM!

7. You don’t have me, you want me, but when you do have me, you want to give me away, what am I?

If you guessed loneliness for this one then you are 100%, out of question, wrong. Well, it could be the correct answer especially for the ones that live in a dorm or have a roommate or a flatmate, or even the ones that are living with their family but are afraid that is not what they are looking for. The answer is a secret! You are always curious to know what that is but when you do, if that is even considered as a secret for you, you want to give it away!

8. What goes all the way around the world but stays in the corner?

We could totally think of any movie characters that can travel through the time. 'Dr Who' could be the best choice but we are afraid that the riddle is just not that complicated! Why don’t we think about something simpler? We could think of a wall but that also is not what we are looking for! A hint: it is kind of related to one of the riddles on our previous pages! Can you guess now? Comment!

9. What belongs to you, but others use it more than you?

Nah! Don’t let your mind go all filthy here. Ease up! This is the last one. You can do this. You’ve got this! The answer to our last riddle is YOUR NAME! Wasn’t that stupidly easy? Could you guess them all correctly? If you feel like, you need to boost your confidence we suggest that you share this with a friend of yours and see how many can they actually answer!
