9 Tips on how to look better in photos?
In the time of smartphones, which allow us to take a photo wherever we are and in the time of social networks that are a modern space where we are putting and share a lot of photos. It is very important to know how to take a great picture. It all depends on our posture, how we lay hands and feet and even how we behave in front of the lens. Not only fashion models can look amazing on a portrait. Read and follow our rules and you will be a master in it as well.
1. Set your chin forward
This is a very common problem, that we look like shy or convicted people without a neck in photos, but with an angry or unfriendly gaze. So if you want to seem more elegant and attractive in the picture always put your chain forward, even if it makes you feel unnatural, that your neck would be visible and slimmer.

2. Never cross your arms
Lowered and crossed arms make you have a shapeless figure in a photo. The correct posture is to straighten the body towards the camera, to make the neck look more slender and put your arms down. This way you will be well presented in the photo and the shape of your body will be clearly underlined. Show yourself better!

3. Look out on your arms
Even if you are sitting, again crossed arms is unsuitable and to keep hands loose is unnatural. You will present yourself the best in the photo by taking an hourglass look. To have this shape put one leg over the other, and place both elbows on the upper leg’s knee. Then you should place one arm in a vertical position and the second in horizontal. Your face and figure look more elegant that way.

4. Right angle
While watching old photos have you ever wondered what's wrong with them? This can be a bad setup of your body. If you sit straight in front of a camera, your posture loses shape, and if you choose the wrong angle your arms and legs can look shorter than what they are. But it is easy to fix it. Slightly turn away from the camera, keep your legs from blending together, and place one leg a little above the other. Now you look slender, and your legs longer.

5. Posture while sitting
Have you noticed that a slightly hunched back can not only make your neck invisible but also thicken your waist? If you don't want to have extra pounds around your abdomen, just straighten your body and if you are sitting, don’t lean against the back of the chair. Try to direct the body towards the camera, that way your figure would look slimmer.

6. Avoid showing elbows
When you are pointing at the camera by your elbow your arm looks shortened and when you put your hand on the neck it disturbs a part of it. Try to avoid showing elbows in the photo and move it slightly to the side. Moreover, keep your hand in plain sight. In this way, you focus on the face and the picture seems more intriguing.

7. Pretending a touch
Speaking of the face. Avoid to put your hands on your head or face, because they focus too much attention and they change your appearance optically. The best posture is to use your palms only to emphasise your face's features. For example by pretending to touch certain places on your body without actually making any contacts.

8. Bad clothes
When you know that you will take a photo of yourself or somebody will do it, try to not wear a baggy or heavy clothes. They are making your body wider and formless. But if there is no time to change clothes, then put your hands on the front side of your hips. One hand should be located slightly above the other and your wrists clearly visible. Can you see the difference?

9. Make visual lines
Posture is the most important while taking a photo. Standing straight with hanging arms looks not only heavy but also boring. Emphasise the figure and its shape by moving your arms away from your body. Try using your hands to create straight lines and angles which will accentuate your figure.
