An artist hospitalized after a dramatic video on YouTube!!!
A few days ago, a dramatic recording by artist Sinead O'Connor appeared on the internet (50). An Irish singer posted a shocking statement about her struggling with bipolar disorder and the fact that she has suicidal thoughts. The recording was made at the Travelodge motel of New Jersey, where the artist lived. Considering the recent struggles of many other stars, the recording has worried not only the fans of the artist.
In her recording, Sinead was clearly shaken. She states that the video was created to make people realize how difficult it is to deal with depression and suicidal thoughts. "I want everyone to know what it’s like, that’s why I’m making this video. Mental illness, it’s like drugs, it doesn’t give a s–t who you are, and equally, what’s worse, it’s the stigma, it doesn’t give a s–t who you are.”

The drama of the situation adds that the artist feels very lonely, claims that she has been left by her friends and has no one to live with or for. “I’m all by myself,” she said, weeping. “And there’s absolutely nobody in my life except my doctor, my psychiatrist, the sweetest man on earth, who says I’m his hero, and that’s about the only thing keeping me alive at the moment … and that’s kind of pathetic.”
The video of the singer can be seen as a cry for help and to draw attention to other people as it is difficult to fight depression and mental illness. The recording immediately attracted the attention of both fans and many celebrities. Another singer, Annie Lennox, posted a note on her Facebook.: “(...) I realize that Sinead has some serious mental health issues, but she appears to be completely out on a limb and I’m concerned for her safety. Are there no close friends or family who could be with her to give her some loving support? It’s terrible to see her in such a vulnerable state.”

After the video was posted fans rushed to the $70-a-night Travelodge motel, but the artist had already gone and had left her car. Local police could have only checked on her welfare. Later, on Tuesday, on Sinead O'Connor account appeared a statement: "Hi everybody, I am posting at Sinead's request, to let everyone who loves her know she is safe, and she is not suicidal.
She is surrounded by love and receiving the best of care. She asked for this to be posted knowing you are concerned for her. I won't respond to any questions, so please understand. I hope this comforts those of you were concerned." Some sources claim that singer is in a hospital in New Jersey and she is receiving medical treatment.
It is not a first time when she was screaming for help?
It is not a first time when her problems appeared. Depression appeared in 1999 when in one of the interviews she confessed that this was the time of her first suicide attempt. In 2007, she was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. In May 2016, she posted a series of alarming notes on Facebook about a possible suicide and then went missing while bike riding in Chicago. In May this year, she also threatened to commit suicide when she lost the custody of her 13-year-old son.
It seems that this latest breakdown was caused by a messy and bitter legal battle with singer's former lover and long-term manager, who is suing her for alleged defamation and breach of contract. Fachtna O'Ceallaigh (70), met Sinead O'Connor in the 1980s when she was 17 and made her a star. The couple broke up at the time of the release of Nothing Compares 2 U but was working together in a partnership until 2012.
What O'Ceallaigh exactly wants from her?
O'Ceallaigh claims that Sinead O'Connor ended their business relationship without warning and defamed him in a letter published on her and a fan's web sites. He is demanding compensations of around £452,000. Singer denies all that claims but, as her lawyer has said at Dublin High Court, her ill health has delayed her ability to defend herself.
Sinead O'Connor is an Irish singer, writer, and composer. She made her debut in the 1980s with In Tua Nua, and in 1986 began her solo career. Her biggest hit is "Nothing Compares 2 U" (1990), a cover of the Prince song that the artist had arranged for her. The artist was the hero of many scandals, she openly confessed to her bi-gender orientation and in public criticized the Catholic Church.
We wish her quick recovery.
