Times Kangana Ranaut spoke her mind fearlessly!

“Have you accepted Bollywood?” “Yes”, “Has Bollywood accepted you?”, “I don’t care.”
That right there is probably the reason why Kangana Ranaut does not have many people around her that wish her well! Kangana is known for speaking her mind and being fearless but she is not always wrong! Despite the fact that it is a little bit out of norms to be this powerful with words and be able to express everything freely, she has earned her success and now is one of the highest paid actresses in India!

She believes that all beautiful things in this world are because of women and we are not going to disagree with her! She is also known for her feminine side and how she advocates girl power. In this article, we are going to give you a lot more reasons to be proud of her by sharing some of her most epic responses in the interviews. And of course, we will start with one of the unique ones when she was a guest on Koffee With Karan and she made Saif Ali Khan say “I don’t even know why I’m here”!

We have heard a lot about how people are making fun of the way she speaks in English. Among one of the fiercest comments that she has ever made, you can find this one that happened on Koffee With Karan as one of the boldest as she left Karan speechless. She said: “Karan, you've been the driving force of my life, if it wasn't for all the rejections and mocking, I wouldn't have made it.” To which he replied: “I’m not sure if I mocked you!” but Kangana did not back down! “You've made fun of my English on this couch.”

There were so many other moments on the show that she made all of us go YESSS when we were watching her and appreciate just how fierce and fearless can someone be to speak her mind in an industry that men still earn more money than women and are more respected. Like this one! “In my biopic, if it ever gets made, you will play that typical Bollywood biggie who is snooty and completely intolerant to outsiders, flag-bearer of nepotism, movie mafia.”

When in a roundtable interview with Rajeev Masand they were asked if they find themselves thinking about not retirement but the times when the roles will dry up when the phone stops ringing since the shelf-life of leading ladies is limited! She took the lead off the interview by saying “People very conveniently ask this question to women but they would never ask this question to a man. The question itself is unfair and shouldn’t be asked”!

When in an interview with India today she started talking about her roots and how proud she is of being Hindu. “I am a very proud Hindu. The foundation of my personality is laid on the teachings of Swami Vivekananda or Sanatan Dharm or the Gita. And if my religious practices or anybody's religious practices are given any kind of sadistic name, it instills fear about other person's religious practices.”

When she won three national awards two of which were back to back, she proved that her acting method is something that is praised all around the world. But not always she has had the support she is receiving right now. Her father fought so hard to keep her out of this business. When she was asked in the interview about how she feels that still, even though she is the most well-paid actress, she is getting paid less than male actors she said “I think as women start to do more significant roles, they should charge accordingly as an artist and as an individual to my job.”

She is emerged as the face of feminism in Bollywood but apparently, this is a little bit heavy on Kangana as she said she does not identify with a full-time feminist tho she wishes she could. “This has been a very personal agenda ….. I don’t want to pretend like I am doing something for the society whereas I am not. And the day I do, I will take credit for that. But I don’t want to take credit for something that I am not intentionally doing and it is just happening.” she accepted that she is a feminist by chance.

Her heated comments about nepotism on NEXT Page!

When she commented on nepotism and said what we all want to say! “Do these Bollywood kids know that it takes almost 10 years to build an audience and to get a critic. These star kids already start from a point where they have everything and they are not aware of the fact that for an outsider, it can take his entire lifetime to reach the starting point. I got one critic after struggling for 10 years and no one cared whether I was alive or dead prior to me becoming a star.

“One has to earn their critics, so you are privileged, let me put this way and yes, it is not your fault. But at the same time, it is a democracy and we cannot let the society be segregated in this extreme manner and we have to make sure everyone is given the equal opportunities.”
All these comments she made were things that we never will be brave enough to spit out and that is one of the reasons why we appreciate Kangana Ranaut for being who she is and not being sorry for it.
