Another classic theory, by Theodore Newcomb, says that people are more attracted to those who are similar to them or have common points of view. That's why if you want to become friends with someone, try to find similarities and focus on things that you have in common, like political opinion, hobby, or work. It can be just one thing that will bring you closer.
This is probably the easiest way to make people like you. Smile, only if it is natural, means that we are dealing with a friendly, happy person, with whom you want to stay around and hang out. If you get to know someone, or you want to attract someone's attention to yourself, smile often! A genuine one. The research also showed that smiling during the first meeting helps ensure the people will remember you later.

There is a theory called by psychologists as a “reciprocity of liking“. It says that if we think that someone likes us, we act and feel that we like him as well. 9. Be a good listener
According to recent Harvard research talking about yourself can be as important for people as food, money, and love.
