There are many things that we do every day, not really aware of how harmful they are to our health. Of course, some of them may even endanger our lives. Not only Patricia Krentcil and Trisha Paytas were the victims. Ashley Trenner lived in Washington state. Unfortunately, due to the climate that prevails, she could not sunbathe all year. And she thought that brown skin was much rejuvenated and made her look much better. There is a lot more to her story to come.
It all started when she was in high school. At first, these were occasional visits, but as time went on they became more and more. There were no requests or warnings. So here is a story of how she got addicted to the solarium.
She was a regular client. It came to be that she could not imagine life without visiting there. For 15 years it has sunk several times a week. She herself even commented on her addiction saying:

“I used to say: I do not care if I die of tanning, as long as I know I will die of sunburn. I really used to say that. Fortunately, I no longer think so. Now I want to cry, as I recall what I said…”
When she was 24, her mother literally begged her to stop sunbathing. But the girl did not even want to hear about it. Unfortunately, one day Ashley discovered a slight change on her body. However, even after that, the young woman still did not give up on the solarium.
The lesson learned came a year later. Her skin changed again. It was bigger, it hurt, and it kept growing. She went to the doctor again. That was the moment when the reality hit her! She was diagnosed with melanoma. The change and the lymph nodes in her area were also removed. Three years after these events Ashley thought she had already got her. She thought he would recover in the end.

Unfortunately, melanoma returned again. She found another change on her right hip. This time the doctors were sure that she would not be able to win. This time it was the death sentence for her. She said: “I killed myself at my own request. In addition, I paid for it. It's unthinkable.” The woman died after a long battle with the disease. Just before her death, Ashley did everything she could to make the young girls aware of what they were doing with the constant solarium visit.
She strongly believed: “If my story will save at least one person before death, it will be something beautiful. I would like that to be so. I hope so. Tan is not worth it - remember this.”
Going through these heart-aching stories, make us think about how easy it is to put yourself in danger and how precious the life we have now is!
