Heartbreaking images showing that Earth has only 50 years of life left
When we talk about life on Earth we do it with a mixture of fascination and pride. We are the only planet we know alive among many other thousands of planets because the conditions required for the development of life are distinct. If we then stop to think about the evolution that has been necessary for us to populate the Earth, we are surprised even with the miracle that is life.
But all this could have an expiration date, and for the first time, we venture to say that we could see the end in no time. So short is the time that scientists could be talking about less than 50 years. Although it sounds in a pessimistic tone, the reality that sprouts from our wrongdoing can have devastating consequences on the environment and, in fact, we are already suffering.

Although most of the Earth is covered with water, most of it is salt water or, at least, unfit for human consumption. That is why the amount of fresh water is something that concerns us. Or at least we should worry because in a very short period of time we could be trying to survive without this precious liquid in many parts of the world. There's is only 2.5 percent of the fresh water available of which 70% is frozen. Only 70% of the world population have access to the 30% of the fresh water we can use.
Some of the studies determine that the ozone depletion is recovering, meaning the rate at which it is depleting is rising steadily. This causes the increase of ultraviolet rays reaching Earth resulting in problems for all possible forms of life, making each day more intense. It has been estimated that about 300% of these harmful rays are passing through the Earth's protective layer.

A recently discovered effect known as space weather could cause a catastrophe alone. The Sun is a star that causes large solar flares, these emit pollution waveform that planet Earth is able to deflect with its electromagnetic field. But this powerful issue could cause serious problems in our electronics. Today, each person has several devices connected to the internet, loss of communications would be a major setback. But if we focus on a global level we find a serious threat to our way of life.
One of the big problems that are dragging the planet is the melting of the polar ice caps. This causes the increase in total water mass on the planet, resulting in coastal flooding and changes in ecosystems. Likewise, the ecosystems of the poles will be destroyed as many animals and floras depend on this crust of ice water. We would therefore faced with a devastating panorama for animals such as seals, polar bears and other animals native to the area.

In contrast, it can be seen as in other regions of the world that the soil is getting dryer. The water level of the upper layers of the Earth would be descending (not the ice caps) alarmingly soon so different lakes and rivers would become completely deserted. This would greatly affect the flora which in turn affects the fauna of the place. Although this only reinforces the first theories on desertification caused by global warming.
CO2 emissions to the environment, together with all sorts of waste deposited in nature we converted many of the spaces on the planet into real dumps. We completely infested waste, contaminated land for life and devastated areas by nuclear contamination. Humans have been destroying the places that were once synonymous with life. Little by little we becoming our own enemies.

Every time we're getting closer and closer to that outcome that could cause the extinction of life. And as if that were not enough, the continued use of material increasingly devastating capabilities also is linked to increased terrestrial contamination. Since pollution leaving a military aircraft to the radiation emitted by nuclear devices. It seems that would be digging our own grave.
Although the future may pass by moving to another planet, to prevent the possible occurrence, it would be better to avoid our extinction on planet Earth. If we help recycle, we can avoid the unnecessary pollution and we have to re-educate our habits. Only then we can we give back to the maker. At the end of the day, this is our home....
