They might not have sold enough but they are masterpieces by its real meaning. Lipstick under my Burkha is the story of the secret lives of four women in search of a little freedom. A burkha-clad college girl struggles with her aspirations to be a pop singer. A young two-timing beautician seeks to escape her small town with her lover. An oppressed housewife and mother of three lives the secret life of an enterprising saleswoman. And a 55-year-old widow rediscovers her sexuality through a phone romance. A movie, worth watching. Something that reminds us how far Bollywood has come.

Trapped is such an impeccable work of art that at the Mumbai Film Festival it received a standing ovation from the audience after the ending of the movie. Rajkummar Rao ate only carrots and coffee during the process of filming the movie. This movie shocked everyone for the popularity it gained due to the storyline. Shubh Mangal Saavdhan is the remake of Kalyana Samayal Saadham. The plot is about a couple who fall in love but then the groom discovers that he suffers from erectile dysfunction. The movie also has an unusual cast! Ayushmann Khurrana and Bhumi Pednekar are playing the role of the couple. You will be surprised by the quality of the movie!

Bareilly Ki Barfi

Bareilly Ki Barfi is about the amusing Mishra family. The only 'life loving' daughter of theirs - Bitti Mishra (Kriti Sanon) works at the electricity board, is a casual smoker, watches English movies and loves breakdance. Due to the pressure of getting married, impulsive Bitty decides to run away from home. At the railway book stall, she stumbles upon a novel called 'Bareily Ki Barfi'. Surprisingly the female protagonist of the novel reads exactly like her and the rest of the story…

The Ghazi Attack

The film based on the mysterious sinking of PNS Ghazi during Indo-Pakistani War of 1971 is shot simultaneously in Telugu and Hindi and dubbed into Tamil. Starring Rana Daggubati, Taapsee Pannu, Kay Kay Menon and Atul Kulkarni. The film received positive reviews and it is the first Indian submarine film ever! After the release of this movie, everyone gained their faith in the Indian movie back.

This movie was selected as the Indian entry for Best Foreign Language Film. the storyline is about a rookie government clerk who has been sent on an election duty to control the conflict. The government clerk, played by Rajkummar Rao tries to run a free and fair election in a conflict area in central India.

Hindi Medium

The poster of the movie reads like this, "Cheating, lying. The parents who will do anything to get their children into the right school"! The plot of the movie is about a couple who want to give their daughter the best education so she will be accepted by the elite. The movie brought so many controversies with itself due to the fact that there was a Pakistani actress playing opposite Irrfan Khan.
