9 Stars who confessed that they hate characters that made them famous...
It is said that to have a role that turns out to be iconic is a great fortune. It brings fans, their admiration, and popularity, thanks to which actors can count on more professional proposals. Meanwhile, many famous actors and actresses openly admit that they hate some of their roles, which in many cases became a curse. Either they did not like characters they played or they felt bad filming them. And although it is difficult to understand it on the list are such names like Daniel Radcliffe or Channing Tatum.
1. Robert Pattinson
Robert Pattinson gained people's attention in an episodical role as Cedric Diggory in "Harry Potter and the Goblet of Fire ", but his huge popularity came with Twilight series. He played a vampire who falls in love with a human girl and teenagers around the world went crazy about these two. Now the actor tries to show his acting skill and to play totally different characters, not romantic pretty loving boys. As he said to the Empire Magazine: "...The more I read the script, the more I hated this guy, so that's how I played him, as a manic-depressive who hates himself."

2. Jim Carrey
Jim Carrey played a Colonel Stars and Stripes in the comic-based movie Kick-Ass 2, which was very popular and actor did it after few years of break. Although just before the premiere there was shooting at Newtown Elementary School. Jim Carrey who not like his character, is known for distaste for guns, refused to take part in any promotion campaigns for this film. He twitted that he doesn't want to support that level of violence.

3. Maybe Shia LaBeouf
Maybe Shia LaBeouf is more know for Transformers trilogy where he played Sam Witwicky, but thanks to these movies he could star in Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull alongside the iconic Harrison Fors aka Indiana Jones! Unfortunately, the film gained a lot of critics and bad grades. In some interviews, Shia said "I feel like I dropped the ball on the legacy that people loved and cherished. I don’t like the movies that I made with Spielberg. The only movie that I liked that we made together was Transformers one.” Because of his words, this character won't return in next movies.

4. Channing Tatum
Recently Channing Tatum is on the top and can choose whatever character he wants. Also, he is a producer of many movies he is in. But before that, he did a movie G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra which was quite successful and introduced him to a big audience. But the actor in a radio interview with DJ Howard Stern said: "I was pushed into doing that movie. From Coach Carter, they signed me to a three-picture deal. (...) The script wasn’t any good… And I didn’t want to do something that I… was a fan of since I was a kid and watched every morning growing up — and didn’t want to do something that was, one, bad and, two, I just didn’t know if I wanted to be GI Joe."
5. Sally Field
When Sally Field played Aunt May, she had her best roles behind her. This trilogy was only to remind herself to the young audience... Although the very good actress in an interview with Howard Stern said: " it's not my kind of movie. It's really hard to find a three-dimensional character in it, and you work it as much as you can, but you can't put ten pounds of shit in a five-pound bag." She admitted also that she did not try hard in this performance.

6. Daniel Craig
It is said that almost every actor in England wants to play James Bond role. It is an iconic character, which can set career for a long time. But after 4 movies as 007, Daniel Craig said that he has had enough. In the interview with Time Out magazine, we can read, that he won't be back as James Bond, "I’d rather … slash my wrists. No, not at the moment. Not at all. That’s fine. I’m over it at the moment. We’re done. All I want to do is move on.” But he seems to not have any better offers because he signs up for the fifth movie which the premiere will be in 2018.
7. Jessica Alba
Fantastic 4 series never had a luck to the movies and it seems that actors weren't that happy to play in it either. Jessica Alba known for being a pretty face in many films said that after doing the sequel Fantastic 4: Rise of the Silver Surfer almost quite the acting. In an interview with Elle magazine, she admitted that director Tim Story told her that she wasn't "crying pretty enough". Maybe because of the lack of acting skills she only has a beautiful smile?

8. Ben Affleck
Long before Ben Affleck became Batman he started in another superhero movie. In 2003 he played Matt Murdock/Daredevil. The movie became a disaster in the box office and Ben in an interview with TimeTalks said "I hate Daredevil so much. (...) I feel like that was there for us to do with that character, and we never kind of got it right. I wanted to do one of those movies and sort of get it right.” Tha's why he agreed to play as Batman. "Part of it was I wanted for once to get one of these movies and do it right – to do a good version".
9. Daniel Radcliffe
Of course, for many people around the world, Daniel Radcliffe forever will be Harry Potter. This character made him famous, rich and well-known. And no matter how hard he tries to play different characters, this one is unforgettable. What is surprisingly in one of the interviews the actor admitted he's not a fan of watching himself in Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince. "Because I'm just not very good in it. I hate it. My acting is very one-note and I can see I got complacent and what I was trying to do just didn't come across. My best film is the fifth one because I can see a progression."
