Movies we cannot wait to watch in 2018 and Padmavati is one of them!

2018 is the year we have all been looking forward to, and it is finally here! There are so many movies to be released, and luckily Padmavati is among one of them finally! There are new megastars to be born and a lot more! 2017 ended up not so well for the movie industry but this year is Bollywood’s year! We are sure you already have a list of the movies that you are looking forward to. We have also prepared a list of the most anticipating movies of 2018, so you can check your list to see what we have in common! Here are the movies we are looking forward to in 2018 and their release date!

1. Padmavat

This movie is just our Padmavati that was said to be released in December, but we all know what happened to the release date! Now after all that drama the censor board decided to let the movie go on the big screen for everyone to watch. ANI tweeted: "Central Board of Film Certification had examining committee meeting on 28 Dec to review Padmavati & decided to give it UA certificate along with some modifications & likely change of the title to Padmavat. Certificate to be issued once required & agreed modifications are made." However, the release date of the movie is yet to be released.

PadMan

The movie which is going to be released on Republic day, 26.01.2018 is PadMan. The film is based on Twinkle Khanna's book, The Legend Of Lakshmi Prasad. The book was inspired by the life of Arunachalam Muruganantham who revolutionized the definition of hygiene by creating a low-cost napkin machine. The stars of this movie are Akshay Kumar, Sonam Kapoor, and Radhika Apte and the movie producer is no one but, Twinkle Khanna. These two can be the best of what is going to be released in 2018, but there are a lot more to come.

Kaalakaandi

Based on what Akshay Oberoi said in his interview with DNA, the story of Saif Ali Khan’s new movie is like this: "It’s a one night story wherein Saif is going through his problems and I am going through mine. As the sun rises, the two of us solve or don’t resolve our problems. There’s also a love story going on, there are gangsters — we don’t necessarily interact with them, but there's a cause and effect. It’s a crazy Bombay thing, one night’s pagalpan." The movie is set to be released on 12th of January.

Aiyaary

Right when the trailer for the movie Aiyaary was released, people lost their minds on twitter! It was one of the greatest trailer ever seen from our point of view, and it sure received a huge amount of love. The story of the movie goes like this "An East Indian colonel has 36 hours to capture his former protégé -- a rogue major who can bring down the government." A great team is also behind this project including Sidharth Malhotra, Manoj Bajpayee, and Rakul Preet Singh. The movie is ready to be released on the 26th of January so get ready for an unforgettable experience.

Pari

With all that has been going on this year in Anushka Sharma's life, people are looking forward to the next step she is going to take, and that is probably going to be the release of her most anticipated movie, Pari. By uploading the picture of the movie oo her Instagram, she got fans on edge waiting for the release of her new masterpiece which is going to be on the 9th of February. From the look of the poster, we know that she is an abused victim, but that is all we know about this movie. Looking forward to seeing Anushka portraying her new masterpiece.

Hichki

Finally, Rani Mukerji is back to the silver screen, and we cannot wait to watch this talented actress playing the role of a teacher who is not just like the rest of the teachers. She struggles with Tourette syndrome, and the movie is about the problems she faces as a teacher and how she tries to gain the respect she deserves from her students and from the society she is living in. The movie is set to be released on the 23rd of February. We cannot wait to watch Rani as a teacher. The teaser of the movie is quite promising as well.

October

No! This is not the month that the movie is going to be released in! This actually is the name of Varun Dhawan’s new hit! Just another beautiful love story that is going to bring back Varun Dhawan to the silver screen and this is not the only movie this handsome guy has in store for us this year! There is another one with Anushka Sharma. He posted on his twitter this tweet that got us wondering how the movie is going to be this time! "As October comes to an end it arrives earlier next year. #October releases on 13th April now."

Thugs of Hindostan

Thugs of Hindostan is based on Philip Meadows Taylor's 1839 novel, Confessions of a Thug about a group of Thugs who caused various problems for the British Empire in India later known as Hindostan. One of the most important reasons why this movie is on this list is because of the stars that have appeared in this movie: Amitabh Bachchan, Aamir Khan, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Katrina Kaif. What other reasons do we need to go and watch a movie?! The movie is set to be released during this year’s Diwali on 7th of November.

Zero

And of course, there has got to be a Shah Rukh Khan movie to look forward to every single year, right!? The stars of the movie other than Shah Rukh Khan, are Katrina Kaif and Anushka Sharma. Seems like these two ladies are ready to set the box office on fire this year! About the story of the movie Shah Rukh Khan says: "The story of the film is celebrating a perfect love story of two imperfect people. Though the protagonist of the film is a dwarf but more than the physical disability of an individual, the story talks about the space of emotional incompleteness of our life."
