As in her life, the "fairy-tale princess" style with which Diana was seen did not last too long, and very soon she began to take risks, approaching the limits of fashion by wearing thin dresses that expressed her individuality; That is why every garment chosen by the princess was the object of all eyes. For example, one of the most iconic dresses was one created by Victor Edelstein that Diana used on a state visit to the United States to meet with Ronald and Nancy Reagan. On that iconic occasion, Lady Di mentioned to Nancy that her most wanted wish was to meet John Travolta, who had been invited to the event without knowing the reason why. Then, in the middle of the meal, Mrs. Reagan asked Travolta to invite the princess to dance, which she finally accepted. As a result, the two ended up dancing on the track for 30 minutes without stopping; We do not want to think about how Prince Charles would feel ... In short, it may take Diana a while to feel comfortable, but when she gained confidence, her style began to influence the designers themselves.

"The Revenge Dress", in Spanish "the dress of the vengeance", as it was known, was taken by Diana to the summer party of the Serpentine Gallery of 1994 the same day that Prince Charles confessed to having maintained an affair with Camilla Parker Bowles, now the Duchess of Cornwall. The garment, which was made of black silk, had been made by the Greek designer Christina Stambolian and was initially considered too bold until the princess changed her mind at the last minute.

"She thought it was too daring," said designer Stambolian, revealing that she had designed the piece three years before expressly for Diana, but that she felt too nervous to get to use it. In fact, Diana was going to wear a Valentino dress to the party, but she backed off when the fashion house made a press release before the event. "She wanted to look like a million dollars, and she did," said the stylist. "We call that ", said the head of the auction house, Kerry, her statements are impressive.

"We called that ". She wore that the same evening Prince Charles confessed to his adultery with Camilla. Diana had a public engagement at the Serpentine gallery and while some would have been like "I can’t face it this evening" Diana went out in that dress looking drop dead gorgeous. She made a big statement right there." It is clear that she made the best possible decision. Probably Diana's intention was to make Charles think "What have I done?" To let such a woman escape, it's a shame she did not live all these years to remember the face that was left on the prince’s face.

"Diana had bought this dress while she was still the Princess of Wales, but she looked too sensual. However, after the separation of Prince Charles, and once his fairy tale crashed ... came out with the most beautiful dress and the highest heels she could find. And who ended up on the first page of all the newspapers the next day? Lady Di in all her splendor concluded the stylist. Of course, she was not going to be the prince...

I was a young girl when saw her on tv, but allthrough these years with all the information about her i think she was a true feminist demanding for equality from the royal family. It is sad that even a family of this stature could not grant equality to her and eventually made a rebel out of her.
