The reason why Kim Cattrall hates Sarah Jessica Parker!! Could it be money?!
After Kim Cattrall's brother was found dead in Canada, the whole internet started sharing their condolences with the star online as well as the cast of Se* and the City but what captured the attention of everyone was the reaction Kim Cattrall showed online! We all have known for quite a while that Kim Cattrall and Sarah Jessica Parker are in this love and hate kind of relationship. Well, more on the hate side we would say but what we did not see coming was the way Kim Cattrall shut Sarah Jessica Parker down! If just like us, you have no idea why this happened, keep reading.
Se* and the City was one of the most successful American romantic comedy-drama that people still are talking about it even to this day! Two of the main stars that we are going to talk about today were also two of the most popular characters in the series, Sarah Jessica Parker as Carrie Bradshaw and Kim Cattrall as Samantha Jones, aka the man-eater. To give you a greater picture, let’s dig in as deep as December of 2004! The end of the series Se* and the City! Follow us to know exactly what happened back then!

Kim Cattrall, in 2004 mentioned that she wanted more money to do the rest of the show on Friday Night With Jonathan Ross: "I felt after six years it was time for all of us to participate in the financial windfall of Se* and the City." At some point the star asked for $1 million per episode but seems it did not happen, she said: "When they didn't seem keen on that, I thought it was time to move on."
So judging by this sentence, the star hates Sarah Jessica Parker for earning more money! WOW! Money can turn friends into enemies! Or we thought they were friends!
There still was much more drama! In 2008, the sweet Sarah Jessica Parker supported her ‘FRIEND’ Kim Cattrall by telling to The Telegraph: "She mentioned money and no one should vilify her for it. People made a decision that we had vilified her. No one bothered to say [to the rest of us], 'Are you disappointed by not making the movie?' Yes. 'Do you respect and support her choice to not do it?' Absolutely."
So from where we see, Sarah wanted to make sure that she was not in the same boat but also still wanted to stay polite!

However, we think she literally wanted to say ‘B*tch, I hate you and your stupid face for not doing this’ but then decided to save the face! We let you be the judge!
Seems like no one bought the pretty way she tried to support her friend as in an interview with Elle magazine, she mentioned: "I don't think anybody wants to believe that I love Kim. I adore her. I wouldn't have done the movie without her. Didn't and wouldn't."
So Kim answered back in an interview with Daily Mail saying: "I think Sarah was right: people don’t want to believe that we get on."
"They have too much invested in the idea of two strong, successful women fighting with each other. It makes for juicy gossip and copy. The truth of us being friends and getting along and happily doing our jobs together is nowhere near as newsworthy." What now?! So you are cool!? She continued (read it with your eyes rolling): "I think Sarah is fantastic. She is a born leader and she guides the crew and the cast in such a strong but gentle way. She and I are sick of this. It’s exhausting talking about it, and a real bore."
But wait! Did she just mentioned that Sarah is ‘A BORN LEADER’?! Hmmm…

Why do they keep coming back and confuse us with everything?! Kim Cattrall definitely needs to make up her mind! Whether they are friends or they are not!
In 2010 in an interview with Marie Claire, they both again commented on how it was working together! Sarah Jessica Parker said: "You're on set, you're working 90-hour weeks, you're never home, you're exhausted. There are times when all of us have been sensitive and sometimes feelings get hurt. But I don't have any regrets about how I've treated people."
Kim Cattrall also mentioned: "Nineteen-hour workdays are stressful, whether you're driving a truck, working in a coal mine or on a set and trying to be your brightest at 4 o'clock in the morning. But there's a camaraderie that happened through all of that — the chemistry among the four of us is very strong."! Ok, honestly if any of us hate someone, we do not even talk to them! Between these two, things seem so fine! Like besties-fine! But hell no!
In an interview with Howard Stern, Sarah Jessica Parker said: "These were my sisters, these were people that I grew to love and admire."

"Was every day perfect? Were people always desperately, hopefully in love with each other? No, but this is a family of people who needed each other, relied upon each other and loved each other. This sort of narrative, this ongoing catfight, it really upset me for a very long time." Awww... All so sweet until, BOOM! 2017 happened! The script of the third Se* and the City and already written but we found out that the movie was not happening! Parker expressed her disappointment in an interview with Extra saying: "I’m disappointed. We had this beautiful, funny, heartbreaking, joyful, very relatable script and story. It’s not just disappointing that we don’t get to tell the story and have that experience, but more so for that audience that has been so vocal in wanting another movie."
Kim Cattrall made sure to let the fan know that the only reason why the movie was not made was not that of the money but because her heart was not in it enough! Ok! Ya! Cool! We believe you, girl! However, no one stopped asking Parker about the third movie while she was promoting season 2 of Divorce! In one of those interrogation sessions with Ellen, she finally said maybe Ellen could be a new Samantha and that is when it happened! After the sudden death of Kim Cattrall’s brother, Sarah Jessica Parker tried to reach out when Kim Cattrall shot her down by this post on her Instagram with this caption: "Your continuous reaching out is a painful reminder of how cruel you really were then and now. Let me make this VERY clear (if I haven’t already). You are not my family. You are not my friend. So I’m writing to tell you one last time to stop exploiting our tragedy in order to restore your ‘nice girl’ persona."!!!
What do you think about the whole drama?!
