All our stars are known as the most influential people in the world. The impact they have on the people is something that surprises the world! Like how Beyonce’s fans literally dropped Keri Hilson out of the music world and demolished her music career or how Kylie’s fans dropped the value of Snapchat by $1.3 billion only because of one single tweet of hers! Some are smart enough to use this influence in a way better way and try to make a change in the world. So, here we have all the stars that are politically active!

1. Kerry Washington

Kerry Washington is an actress and a producer. She is well-known for her role as a crisis management expert to politicians and power brokers in Washington DC, Olivia Pope in the series Scandal. She has been nominated for this role twice. Kerry has been an activist since 2007, she is a member of the Women’s Cancer Programs of the Entertainment Industry Foundation. In 2016, she appeared in a commercial to support Hillary Clinton for the presidency. She also is a big supporter of LGBT and victims of violence.

Oprah Winfrey is an American media proprietor, talk show host, actress, producer, and philanthropist. Barack Obama, ex-president, awarded her the Presidential Medal of Freedom and she possesses honorary doctorate degrees from Duke and Harvard. Despite her difficult past, Oprah is now ranked as the most influential woman in the world. Not long ago, after the speech that Oprah had, everyone was talking about how she needs to go for the next election and how she is going to be the best candidate, the one people need to come out of this mess that they are in. Her influence during the presidency of Obama was so strong that it was named the Oprah effect.

3. Angelina Jolie

Angelina Jolie is known to everyone, more than the roles she’s played, for being quite present and her Humanitarian work. For her good work, she has received a Jean Hersholt Humanitarian Award and an honorary damehood of the with Order of St Michael and St George. She is noted for her advocacy on behalf of refugees activities for United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees. She is known as one of the most influential people in the industry.

4. Matt Damon

Matt Damon is an actor, film producer, philanthropist, and screenwriter - recently known more for his friendship with Harvey Weinstein and Ben Affleck. He is the highest grossing stars of all time and by Forbes, he was ranked as one of the most bankable stars. He is the co-founder of Safe-Water charity Water.org. You probably have seen his ad during this year’s Super Bowl. He is also politically known as one of the outspoken figures. He is a supporter of the Democratic Party and had made critical statements against Republican Party figures.

5. Eva Longoria

Eva Longoria is an actress, producer, director, activist and a businesswoman. She is known for portraying the role of Gabrielle Solis in the series Desperate Housewives, for which she gained Golden Globe and Screen Actors Guild Award nominations. She also is known as an activist. She was one of the seven Californians of Barack Obama's re-election campaign. She has always been a supporter of immigrants and their rights. And she also initiated the Latino Victory Project.

6. Dwayne Johnson

Dwayne Johnson who was born on the 2nd of May 1972 is a professional wrestler, producer and an actor. In wrestling, as a professional, hee achieved eight-time WWF/WWE Champion, two-time WCW/World Champion, two times WWF Intercontinental Champion and a five-time WWF Tag Team Champion. He won the 2000 Royal Rumble. He is a supporter of Republican Party and had a speaking role at the 2000 Republican National Convention. He also is the founder of a charity called the Dwayne Johnson Rock Foundation.

7. Leonardo DiCaprio

Leonardo DiCaprio who was born on the 11th of November 1974 is an American actor, film producer, and environmental activist. For his role in the movie the revenant he finally was able to get the most anticipated Oscar. In 1998, the actor established the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, a non-profit organization devoted to promoting environmental awareness and he has been active in this field ever since.

8. George Clooney

George Clooney is an actor, director, producer, screenwriter, activist, businessman, and philanthropist. He is the receiver of many accolades. He was a member of President Obama's campaigns supporters in 2008. He also is a supporter of LGBT. In 2003, about the Iraq war, he said: "You can't beat your enemy anymore through wars; instead you create an entire generation of people seeking revenge... Our opponents are going to resort to car bombs and suicide attacks because they have no other way to win... I believe [Donald Rumsfeld] thinks this is a war that can be won, but there is no such thing anymore. We can't beat anyone anymore."

9. Jennifer Lawrence

Jennifer Lawrence has recently announced that she is going to give a break to her acting career to be involved in political activities! She said: "I’m going to take the next year off. I’m going to be working with this organization I’m a part of Represent.Us. It’s just trying to get young people engaged politically on a local level. It’s just anti-corruption and stuff trying to pass state-by-state laws that can help prevent corruption, fix our democracy. And then I don’t know what I’m doing next."
