The man who tattooed his entire body black in a 10-year process!

We certainly have no idea what is going on in the world as every single day we find out something weirder than the previous day! For now, it was the girl with the ribs removed and all the plastic surgery things. We even had the guy tattooing his eyeballs and now there is Eli Ink! The 27-year-old is a tattoo artist from Brighton, England and not just any kinds of a tattooed star, but someone who had his own body transferred to all black with tattoos! We have no idea how this man manages to even talk easily but here is what you need to hear from him.

"In my opinion, the only person who will only ever understand my transition properly is me. I don’t attempt to describe it to anyone. I’ve always been blown away by art itself. Picasso is a huge childhood inspiration to me, especially abstract art, but I do like all forms of art. Body art was just the next local step for me growing up. I wanted to look like an abstract character in one of Picasso’s paintings. I love the abstract look, no thought, just pure expression."

In an interview with Daily Mail, he confessed that is a very dangerous risk.
He said: "That’s the risk you take letting anyone near your eyes, even trained surgeons can make mistakes. Body modification is a risk-taker’s lifestyle. The best is always nice compliments, that’s always nice to hear, either from tattoo collectors or just passers-by, the worst is always older generations looking down on you and making you feel worthless. I will never be finished."

"It will take me the rest of my life to finish my studies but I am dedicating the rest of my life to body modification and perfecting my work."
He, however, is not the only person who has gone through something quite extreme! Meet Karan King, first Indian who got his eyeballs inked! Karan himself is a professional tattoo artist and he claims that inking your eyeballs is completely safe if you go to a trusted professional.

In his interview with DNA, he has talked about the reason behind his decision. He said: "I always wanted to get something like this done and thus made sure that I get it done from the person who invented eyeball tattooing a decade back — Howard Smith. Because as a tattoo artist, my eyes are very important to me. I started tattooing almost 12 years back and in all these years have got recognition in the country and abroad for my safe and innovative techniques."

"My work has got me accolades in the ‘Guinness Book of World Records’ for making the maximum tattoo flags on someone."
As bizarre as this may sound, looking at his photos, you can actually see that everything is doing fine with his eyeballs! Or at least that is what the eye sees. He said: "If the needle is inside the eye and you move your eyeballs the sclera membrane will tear and the eye can be gone forever."

"The ink is injected inside the sclera membrane, which is very thin and next to invisible to naked eye at certain spots in particular angles. The level of penetration (has to be) extremely precise because it’s dangerous if over- or underdone."
The tattoo artist also has some advice to give to the ones who want to go through this procedure: "One has to be 100% certain if he/she wants to go for this life-changing risky procedure on which there is not even any study."

"We have to sign a legal document which clearly says if there is any disaster -- the artist is not responsible since it’s a hit and try."
For the ones who would like to go through something like this, there a horrible case that will make you change your mind. Not long ago Catt Gallinger, a Canadian model, decided to get her eyeballs inked and the unfortunate event we all have been thinking about happened to her! She posted a picture of herself where she was crying purple!

There was a long message attached to the picture as she was asking everyone to share the post as much as possible so people would see what can possibly happen! A part of it reads like this: "For everyone inquiring about my eye. So this was done by Eric Brown three weeks ago. As it stands I will have to see a specialist and am at risk of being blind if it doesn't get corrected. This was caused by undiluted ink, over injection, not enough/smaller injections sights."

"I am NOT sharing this with you to cause trouble, I am sharing this to warn you to research who you get your procedures by as well as how the procedure should be properly done. However, the guy who made the tattoo, Eric Brown, believes that what happened to Catt Gallinger’s eyeballs were not his fault. In his email to CBC, he said: "I wholeheartedly believe it wasn't my fault. I told her she needed to get more eye drops that day… She was fine but neglected to get eye drops. My procedure was clean, only two mere injections, with an ink that has been tested, that we know is safe to use in eyes. I told [Gallinger] the risks or what kind of swelling she could expect and she went through with it anyway.""
