9 Signs showing that your LIVER is sick
2. Hypersensitivity of the skin
Another early sign of toxic liver acidification is when the skin begins to itch or becomes sensitive to touch. The cause of itching and hypersensitivity of the skin is a condition in which nutrients and metabolic acids, as well as by-products of metabolism, are excreted through the pores of the skin, instead of bypassing through urine or defecation. Moisturizing creams and alkaline mineral bath salts may be helpful; however, the patient's condition will deteriorate until the kidneys and bladder are clean and will not be ready to remove metabolic products efficiently.
3. Changes in the colour of urine and stool
If the urine or stool turns a darker color than normal, it may indicate potential liver problems. It is extremely important to check the urine pH level every morning and make sure it is at least 7.2. If you drink enough alkaline fluids with a pH of 9.5 - your urine should be pale and almost transparent, and the pH should be at least 7.2. If the urine and stools remain invariably dark, this indicates liver disease - the excess of bilirubin in the bloodstream is responsible for the discoloration. Further deterioration of liver function will result in the stool becoming pale, bloody or completely black.
