Studies have shown that dogs have the ability to detect certain diseases such as cancer with the help of their keen sense of smell. A dog’s sense of smell can be anywhere from 10,000 to 100,000 times stronger than humans depending on the breed.
The next one is probably important information for people who are scared of dogs!

4. They understand when you feel scared

Did you know that if you are scared, dogs can know about it in an instant? Dogs have sensitive noses which can pick up on subtle scents such as adrenalin, which they associate with fear and danger. Big dogs might rush to your protection while small dogs or those with nervous temperaments will follow your lead and start to feel scared themselves. While it may be true for the most part that dogs can smell fear, it is also true that they intuitively understand the body language associated with it.

6. Dogs can sense your anger

Dog owners who have been long enough with their dog sometimes don’t even have to utter a word to show that they are pissed. Dogs sense when you're angry at them. A study found that dogs display the behaviour of crouching down, trembling, whining and occasionally losing bladder control when they are on the receiving end of discipline even when they didn’t do anything wrong. So, it is clear that dogs can sense anger and it is also clear that they don’t understand the source. So don’t lash out on your dog 1 hour after he did it. It's pretty useless. Do it immediately or don’t do it at all.

They start to withdraw from you and run around and basically try to trouble you. As soon as you get him into the car, your dog will already know where it’s going. Most dogs develop a set of anti-lock brakes that makes them impossible to move.

9. Dogs know when you don’t like someone

A chemical reaction takes place within our body when we look at something or someone we love. Feelings of happiness, joy, infatuation or ecstasy occur when the chemical reactions of dopamine and serotonin are released into our system. The same thing pretty much happens when we look at a person we do not particularly like. But in this case the hormones released are related to hate, resentment and fear.
